So... Lockdown 3.0! Who would have thought, almost a year since our previous updates, we'd be writing the same kind of message? To be honest, we really don't have any "Latest News", other than we are still in operation and slowly but surely teaching some of the young people of Berkshire the ways of theatre. But just in an online fashion! Which doesn't really suit the Troublemaker way - we're all about running around and being physical and not being stuck behind a laptop! But we are still here and still optimistic that, once we've all had the all-clear, we can get out there once again and keep on working, keep on teaching and keep on making Trouble!
As soon as we have any new exciting projects on the go, this will be the first place you'll be able to read about it, so hang tight, stay safe and do pop back every now and again to see what we're up to.
Also, a huge thank you to everyone who has checked in with us since we left Norden Farm to see how we're doing - so many theatre companies and creative entities have suffered so much during the last twelve months and we are incredibly lucky and grateful to still be rocking along.

You may have heard that we at Troublemaker recently decided to stop running Norden Lights Youth Theatre at Norden Farm. Sadly, we didn't realise that the Coronavirus would stop our final term of shows so short. As it turns out, we have run our last rehearsals at Norden Farm and after 20 years, we are saying goodbye to Norden Lights.
You have all been an enormous part of those 20 years and without your passion for theatre and your support for us, we would never have got this far. So, thank you. Thank you for the lifts, the costumes, the cards and gifts, the applause at the end of each show and the nudges to get those lines learnt. Thank you for turning up, thank you for caring and thank you for loving the theatre as much as we do.
Troublemaker goes on to different things but the hundreds of young people we have met and taught and directed over the years will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
During this difficult time, may theatre, art, self-expression and creativity continue to lift our spirits and make us lifelong friends.

In light of today's guidance from the government regarding theatres and other social spaces, we are working closely with the venues to whom we are currently contracted to run workshops and theatre projects. Whilst we aim to continue on with our work as normal for as long as we can, we will, of course, adhere to the venues' decisions on if or when they will close. We will post any further information on our social media accounts and our website as soon as we know any more.
Thank you for your continued support.

Norden Farm Summer Theatre Week - Monday 19th to Friday 23rd August 2019 - SOLD OUT!
Back by popular demand, we will be running our annual Summer Theatre Week at Norden Farm again this year!
This year's title is: "How I Got To Be So Old But I'm Not Yet Ruling The World" - think of all those huge life events that you experience as a young person and what they teach you: the day you won that race in Year 1, climbing to the top branch of “The Big Tree”, getting the answer before “Spotty Nelson” in Maths class, realising wasp stings don’t hurt that much after all, discovering the truth about Santa, your first time on an aeroplane.
Suitable for 10 to 16 years olds, 10.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 10.00am to 6.00pm on Friday 23rd. Click here to visit Norden Farm's website for more information and booking.
Congratulations to the Norden Lights Academy cast and crew of "Stuff" - they delivered a fantastic performance at Royal and Derngate, Northampton as part of the National Theatre Connections project. A huge well done to all involved and a massive thank you to all parents, friends and family members who not only came along to watch and applaud (and sing!) but who provided much needed transport. You're all amazing!
